«MAESTRO™» 🇬🇧

THE FIGHT FOR THE LAST CROWN
Two directors set up scenes with random combinations of performers from the festival ensemble. In each round, the performers are faced with tasks that challenge them to their limits. The result is a great variety of scenes, ranging from tragic romances to gripping thrillers. The audience decides which of the performers will make it to the next round. In the end, only one Maestro can prevail.

We will tell the story of a remote village. The eccentric inhabitants of this village only have each-other to rely on as they have no contact with the outside world. Come and find out the history of the village. How does this village operate? What customs have they developed? Will the village survive to see more generations?

«500 Seconds» 🇬🇧

THE FINAL COUNTDOWN
„500 seconds“ is an original format that has 2 parts and it’s all happening in the same space. 500 seconds is the time the light takes to travel from the sun to the earth. If something was to happen on the Sun, we would only see it 500 seconds later – because that’s how long it would take for the information to come to us. In the first part duos of improvisers do a scene, that is 500 seconds long. One of the improvisers determine, what she or he will do at exactly the 500’s second of the scene. The other improviser is the Earth and has no clue until this 500 second… but she or he has to trust the partner so the decision doesn’t come out of nowhere.

All weapons are permitted: dance and song, poetry and pantomime, and all genres from chamber play to grand opera. It can be awfully weird and relentlessly entertaining.

The world is hiding many different shadows. If you put a light on it, it doesn’t get lighter, but more visible. Which doesn’t make it more pleasant to watch. The real world mixes with the ghastly dimension of nightmares and mischievous imps. Maybe everything is just a hallucination, or maybe we should be afraid of ourselves? (This show is in totall darkness. Actors have torches and we play with spotlights.)

«4 Zimmer» 🇨🇭/🇩🇪

DAS HOTEL AM ENDE DER WELT
Diese Show ist inspiriert von dem Film „Four Rooms“ aus dem Jahr 1995, in dem sich vier ineinandergreifende Geschichten in der Silvesternacht in einem verfallenden Hotel abspielen. Jede Geschichte wurde von einem anderen aufstrebenden Regisseur der damaligen Zeit inszeniert und zeigt daher unterschiedliche Handschriften – Tarantino war einer von ihnen. Der einzige rote Faden, der die Geschichten verbindet, ist der Concierge, der zu den Zimmern gerufen wird und jedes Mal in Schwierigkeiten gerät. Und das ist genau das, was in der Show improvisiert werden soll. In welche Schwierigkeiten wird er geraten?
